What to bring and what not to.

Please DO NOT BRING following items with you:

(a) Tibet guide book, especially the lonely planet
(b) Pictures of the Dalai Lama
(c)Any items with the Tibetan flag on it

Please DO NOT TAKE PICTURE of military/police personnel

- Laptops will be checked at the border, make sure that there are no forbidden pictures on it .
- Make sure you do not have anything with you containing political statements.
- All your personal belongings will be checked at the border, including small boxes, pockets of jackets etc.
- Souvenir from Nepal is allowed.
- Use lip cream, wear warm clothing in layers and drink at least 3 to 4 liters of liquids a day.

This Terms & Conditions are only for Tibet Tours subjected to specific terms and conditions as mentioned below.

To enjoy tension free holidays, and to escape from any last minute hassles, we request our valuable customers to follow our pre-defined procedures for booking a tour package with us. This will help us to analyze your requirements in a better way, thus offering you more specialized holiday tours, well keeping in mind your interests and budget.

Booking & Visa

To avoid any last minute confusions, we suggest for the final booking of the tour at-least 2 weeks in advance of the tour, besides providing us with your full passport details (full name, sex, nationality, passport number, date of birth and profession).

We also arrange for Tibet/China visa. The visa formalities should be completed in advance as it takes minimum of 2 week in processing tourist visa.

Payment Procedure

There should be 100% advance payment of the total tour amount for booking a tour with us on definite basis. You can pay by Credit card, Master card, Visa Card and Cash please let us know how you want to pay us.

Cancellation

Within 15 days of tour booking if any cancellation is made then the company will refund 50% of total amount of the tour, thereafter no refunds are made.

The company is not held responsible for any delay arrivals, no shows or any other unpredictable circumstances, in all these cases the company is not accountable for any refund.

There is a separate rule for air tickets for the sector Kathmandu/Lhasa/Kathmandu. Air tickets are issued on first come first serve basis. Old bookings are not considered by the Chinese airlines. To avoid these hassles, we get the tickets issued for our customers at least 3-4 weeks prior to their starting tour, by taking 100% advance payments of the full tour amount by them. Also, once the air tickets are issued, they are non-refundable, not re-routing trip and non-transferable. So, in case of the cancellation of the tour, there shall be no refund against the air tickets.

Risk & Liability

We always put our efforts towards making your journey smooth and pleasant. However, as all tours to Tibet are run strictly under Tibet tourism authority, we or our agents shall not be responsible for any changes or cancellation of programs due to unavoidable circumstances such as road blockade, flood, snow, unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrival of clients, sickness or accidents, breakdown of vehicles.

Any extra cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot. It is always advisable to have full insurance against medical and personal accident risks. Cancellation insurance is also highly recommended.

This e-mail is to express my sincere thanks for the wonderful trekking we made and for the superb support received from you and your team. For those interested, I visited Nepal about 10 times before, because my family is responsible for a Children Home since 2005 and we extended this Home with a Daycare Center for disabled children in March 2012. The name of the Home is Langtang Children Home and is located nearby the Swoyambhunath, on the way from Thamel to the Stupa. We do have a website, but in Dutch only (www.langtang.nl) Each visit was a combination of visiting the Children Home to discuss the past and the future and to make a trekking. I know Raj Kumar from the time he worked for another office, but because he started his own travel organization (Himalayan Range International Treks & Expedition Pvt Ltd),web site: http://www.adventurehimalayantreks.com I decided to use his services for my most recent trekking and looking back, this was a right decision and I\'ll certainly use his services in the future again. Our trekking took 15 days and comprised of the Tamang Heritage Trail (west from Langtang National Park). Then we crossed the Bhote Kosi River and walked to the holy Gosainkunda lakes, followed by crossing the Laurebina pass at 4.610 meters and we continued trekking through the Helambu region, back to Kathmandu. It was a wonderful trekking and I can certainly recommend this trekking, especially under the guidance of Raj Kumar. Dear Raj, I wish you lots of success with your new company and until next time.
