Travelling by Air

You can fly directly to Kathmandu with most of the major airlines.Thai Airways, Qatar Airways, Indian Airlines, Pakistan International Airlines, Biman Bangladesh, Gulf Air, Air Sahara, Jet Airways, Austrian Air,  Air China, Druk Air fly to Nepal regularly.

Flight tickets should be confirmed three days in advance of departure to avoid problems by possible flight cancellation or changes in the flight schedule.

Travelling by Road

All visitors entering Nepal by land may only use entry points at Kakarbhitta, Birgunj, Belhiya, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Dhangadi and Mahendra Nagar on the Nepal-India border, and Kodari on the Nepal-China border. Overland tourists entering the Kingdom with their vehicles must possess an international carnet.

Visa Regulations

A single or multiple entry tourist visas can be obtained from the Royal Nepalese diplomatic missions abroad or at the port of entry.
